My mission is to simply the complex field of industrial property (IP) protection (protection of products and ideas) in an understandable manner and provide advise for the protection of products and ideas under consideration of the respective framework conditions of risks and rewards.

Often, in addition to or instead of the initially desired patent (“utility patent”), which is relatively difficult and costly to obtain and enforce, another industrial property right is much more appropriate, e.g. a design patent (“design patent”) or a trademark (“trade mark”). Defining the objectives precisely here and bringing them into line with the budget is always an exciting challenge.

The goal is an optimally coordinated protection, taking into account the technical and economic framework conditions, to safeguard your development performance against the competition.

As an industrial engineer I provide the technical competence for the exchange with technicians and inventors, as a Patent Attorney, European Patent, European Trademark Attorney and European Design Attorney I provide the specialized legal competence and as an industrial engineer I also provide the business competence to protect and enforce your business developments and assets against imitation worldwide in an economically reasonable manner.

Living in Bergisch Gladbach and in cooperation with the Law firm Wagner Albiger and Partner Patentanwälte mbB, Bonn, my intention is to actively support the clients “close to the client” in greater Cologne, Bonn, Düsseldorf region as well as in the Bergisches Land and all areas of Germany.
